Seminar In Russia, December 2017
On December 9-10, 2017, in Moscow, there was held a seminar “Homeopathic Treatment of Chronic Diseases and Difficult Cases”. The Seminar was organized by Dr. Nadezhda Y. Kubasheva, coordinator of the IACH E-learning Program in Moscow.
She introduced to the audience Dr. Atul Jaggi, an IACH teacher and a homeopath with a well-established active practice. The Seminar was attended by 60 homeopaths from 4 countries and from more than 20 cities. Most of the participants studied Homeopathy at the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy (IACH), many of them followed the IACH E-learning Program, some of them studied Homeopathy in other educational centers. But they all came in order to study the techniques and methods of Dr. Atul, a successful practicing homeopath, and in order to enrich their knowledge of homeopathy.
On December the 9th Dr. Atul Jaggi began to show his cases and presented his strategy of taking acute cases and prescribing the indicated remedy. He showed various cases of patients belonging to different Levels of Health. During the demonstration of these cases Dr. Atul showed how the strategy of prescribing a remedy in an acute case works (the strategy is presented in George Vithoulkas’s book “Levels of Health”). All stages of treating these cases were supported by the results of the clinical laboratory tests. Dr. Atul Jaggi drew the attention of the audience to an interesting aspect of the patients’ laboratory tests dynamics: he noted that in a number of cases there was a certain dissociation of the clinical and laboratory tests results of the patients, namely a rapid decrease of the clinical manifestations of the disease, an amelioration of the general state of the patients on the one hand, and the absence of the decrease, and sometimes even an increase of the disease laboratory markers on the other hand. This very important observation that was shown by Dr. Atul (and homeopaths indeed witness this phenomenon in their everyday practice when they start to monitor the patient’s laboratory tests results after the remedy) may make the doctor reject the well-chosen remedy despite the evident clinical amelioration of the patient’s state. Using clinical data of several cases Dr. Atul Jaggi demonstrated that the disease clinical markers start to decrease only after a lengthy period of clinical amelioration.
Quite a number of very important subjects were touched upon during the seminar, namely: the case prognosis; the acute states treatment together with chronic treatment; treatment of one-sided cases; the patient’s levels of health; the various reactions to a prescribed remedy; prescription of small remedies. Many very important aspects of Classical Homeopathy, presented by Prof. George Vithoulkas in his books and in the E-learning program, and which are of a major importance for every practicing homeopath, were discussed in detail by Dr. Atul Jaggi during the presentation of his cases with complete cure of patients belonging to different levels of health.
On December the 10th Dr. Atul showed the cases of patients with severe somatic pathology and with a poor clinical prognosis from the point of view of the official medicine. These practical cases support the effectiveness of the homeopathic method of treatment. All patients’ cases were accompanied by documentary and clinical-diagnostic confirmation of the cure.
On Sunday, within the framework of the Seminar, a teleconference with Prof. George Vithoulkas was held. During this session the attending doctors could ask Prof. George Vithoulkas the questions that were essential for their own practical work. During the teleconference Prof. George Vithoulkas spoke about the proper way of prescribing a homeopathic remedy to a mother who is breast-feeding her baby; what is the best tactics in cases when the well-indicated remedy was repeated at a wrong moment and, as a result, a risk of the disease relapse occurred; how to treat a patient in the conditions of a constant stress and answered a lot of other questions arising in everyday homeopathic practice. The Professor spoke about the general prognosis of the planet population health in the nearest future and wished all doctors-homeopaths success in their practice for the benefit of the people’s health.
Generally speaking, the total Seminar was indeed very informative and interesting. During the breaks in the work of the Seminar the participants had a chance to share their experience and to exchange information with each other.
At the conclusion of the Seminar there was a presentation of the first Russian translation of Prof. George Vithoulkas’s book “The Basic Principles of Homeopathy”, the book that is intended for a wide circle of readers.
At present we are all looking forward to our next meeting with Dr. Atul in November 2018!
