Patient: “Yes, correct. And after the Salmonellosis I had another pneumonia, again, on the same side, on the right side, without pleurisy. From this time on I had diarrhoea with blood, up to 20 times per day, for six months. After this I was diagnosed with “non-specific ulcerative colitis”.
During these six months I was treated with Hydrocortisone. My entire life after these incidents was a period of convalescence. There was no strong aggravation, but from time to time I felt exactly the same fears, exactly the same states of anxiety as yesterday.”
G.V.: “Can you describe that fear? Is it a feeling that something bad will happen?”
Patient: “As if something bad will happen to me.”
G.V.: “To your health?”
Patient: “Yes.”
- V.: “And do you have other fears? Fear of the dark?”
Patient: “No. In my childhood there were other fears.”
G.V.: “Were you afraid of thunderstorms?”
Patient: “No. When I was six years old I got scared. I lived in a small house with my parents.”
