Chapter 8

Dynamic Interaction of Disease

THUS FAR in the text, we have depicted the human organism as being an integrated totality responding to external morbific stimuli first by a change in vibration rate on the dynamic electromagnetic level. If the defense mechanism is weak, or if the stimulus is very powerful in relation to it, the vibration rate will remain altered, and the organism will be unable to return to the original state on its own. For this reason, we potentize substances that can then act to strengthen the dynamic level, and we prescribe them according to the Law of Similars, in order to take advantage of the principle of resonance between the therapeutic agent and the resultant vibration level of the organism. Stimuli which are capable of altering the resonant frequency of the organism may be weak and transient, as in changes in humidity or barometric pressure, or they may be very powerful, such as deep emotional shocks or prolonged and severe stress. In this chapter, we shall examine further a few of the most powerful influences which can deeply and chronical- ly alter the health of an individual. In homeopathic experience, three such powerful influences which must be taken into account during a patient’s history are powerful acute illnesses, suppressive therapies, and vaccinations. All three of these, when the organism is weakened and vibrating on a susceptible level, can be major turning points in the health history of an individual.
