PRACTICAL SUGGESTIONS FOR THOSE WHO CARE TO PROTECT THEMSELVES AND OTHERS FROM AIDS
According to the many voices of concerned scientists, this planet is in imminent danger of perishing from nuclear disaster, land and water pollution, air and chemical pollution (resulting in the destruction of the ozone layer) and more. Most of these scientists are concerned about the destruction of the environ¬ment, but there is a greater danger facing the human race today—the destruction of the "inner" ecology of the hu¬man organism.
The AIDS syndrome is only one aspect of a much greater pattern—the relentless progression of complex chronic diseases. These diseases herald the rapid degeneration of mankind’s health. Those who understand the problem have an obligation and responsibility to educate others. I feel that unless radical measures are immediately taken, we will witness consequences far more dire than those to date. Measures have to be taken on various levels:
1. Individual level
2. Family level
3. Societal level
4. National Governmental level
5. International level
We shall enumerate some measures that pertain mostly to those concerned with AIDS, but nevertheless, similar ideas may be applied to the whole problem of degeneration of the human organism. The following thoughts, given in the form of suggestions and questions, do not cover the subject wholly but are indicative of the basic thoughts I feel are pertinent at the moment.
