CeJle Seminar I, Case 17: Chronic Gastritis

(F.P.): It’s very difficult.
(G. V.): Do you have a very difficult character? (F.P.): No, I don’t consider myself to be very problematic. (G.V.): The problems go directly to your stomach, eh? They don’t pass through your head? (F.P.): You could say that, (laughs) (G. V): And that is all you can say? (PP.): Oh…
(G. V.): Are you very emotional?
(P.P.): Yes, I like to laugh a lot. I like having nice, friendly people around me. I try to be and think positive. (G.V.): Are you ever very irritable? (F.P.): Sometimes, but not excessively so. (G. V): You were never out of control? (PP.): No.
(G. V.): Are your menses normal? Do you have any problems before or during menses?
(F.P.): No, there are no problems; they are normal. (G. V.): Are you at all constipated?
(F.P.): Since Vve been eating whole-grain food I don’t have any problems.
(G.V.): Do you have a lot of eructations? (F.P.): Only when I drink carbonated beverages. (G.V.): A lot of gas? (PP.): Yes, then I have to bring it out. (G. V.): Is your abdomen distended? (F.P.): No, not particularly.
(G. V.): Do you feel more relieved when the gas comes out? (F.P): Yes.
(G. V.): Definitely a great relief? (F.P): Yes.
(G. V.): Do you have pains in the abdomen? (F.P): At the moment?
(G. V.): Before the medicine, the last medicine. (PP.): More in the stomach area than in the abdomen. (G. V.): But do you have a rumbling in the abdomen?
