meopath, because our cases are seldom as clear cut as those you hear or read about. In my opinion, you can only feel very satisfied practicing homeopathy when you handle rural cases where people work with the earth, with their hands, and the organism is strong. In such instances, homeopathy is a satisfying experience. Sophistication and intellectualization are our worst enemies! It is not that the woman in this case is intellectualized—I am not trying to make excuses—but you can see how cases become cloudy because of allopathic drugs. The worst thing you can have to deal with is a case of an intellectual person who’s taken allopathic drugs.
(A.l): Causticutn was a very good prescription, but I don’t see the reaction it brought about.
(Therapist): I think it is difficult to say because of the weather; she feels well when the sun is shining. However, it disturbs me that her sleep is so bad and that her pain continues. I also think that her right elbow is worse.
(G.V.): You never knew what the sedimentation rate was? Was it very high, over a hundred?
(Therapist): I don’t know.
(A.2): When we had the pre-information and I read it and discussed it with some people, there was a strong Medorrhinum impression, which was more or less confirmed during the first part of the interview. I got the impression that she was not telling everything, that she was hiding things, that she did not want to give out information. For every question you asked she immediately had an answer, always a very short answer. I more or less got the impression that she was pretending about her commitment to the world. She said that she couldn’t do anything. She also said that she was active in politics, in the Green party, but she wasn’t really doing anything. I got the impression that she was covering up something, and that’s why I think this could also be a case of Medorrhinum or Thuja.
