Celle Seminar I, Case 15: Forgetfulness/Depression

(G. V): Are you easily offended?
(F.R): I think so.
(G. V.): If somebody offends you, do you forget easily, or do you
hold a grudge?
(F.P.): I may not react visibly at the time, but I do think about it
and I carry it around with me afterwards for a long time. I think
I do hold grudges.
(G. V.): If the person comes and apologizes, do you forget, or do
you still hold it against them?
(F.R): I can forgive and eventually I can also forget, but it takes

(G. V.): Do you have any ingrown toenails?
(F.R): Yes.
(G.V.): Is that very painful? Do you have problems with that?
(F.R): It’s not really that painful, but they do grow inwards.
(G. V.): Do you get cracks in the corners of your mouth from time
to time?
(F.R): Yes, sometimes, not very frequently, but it does happen.

(A.1): Sepia.
(A.2): Pulsatilla.
(A.3): Aurum.
(G.V.): Yes, I thought about Aurum and Natrum sulphuricum. When I asked about constipation, what was I thinking of? Nux vomica. Why? Because she looked quite irritable and Nux vomica is an irritable type of person. She was depressed, thought of suicide, better in the evening. What could the remedy be? Aurum or, especially because of the left-sided headaches, Sepia. You might also think of Lachesis, a justifiable prescription considering her depression in the morning, or Lycopodium, because of
