(G.V.): Otherwise you would do it?
(F.P.): I would, but I know it’ll make me put on weight. I like fat, but, for example, if there’s too much fat on a piece of meat, I cut some of it away, even though I like eating it. (G.V.): How do you feel in relation to temperature? If it’s too hot or too cold, do you have a reaction?
(F.P.): I like moderate temperatures. I prefer warmth, but I don’t like it if it’s too hot. My circulation can’t stand it. I get cold very, very quickly, cold hands and feet. (G.V.): Do you have any salivation during sleep? (F.P.): No, not at all. (G.V.): Do you perspire a lot? (F.P.): Yes, when I exert myself. (G.V.): Where mostly? (F.P.): The head, the back of my knees, and-(G.V.): Is the perspiration offensive? (F.P.): Not particularly. (G.V.): And the perspiration on your feet? (F.P.): My feet don’t perspire. If I do perspire, then I perspire everywhere. But I wouldn’t say that I particularly have sweaty feet or anything like that. (G.V.): Do your nails break easily? (F.P.): They are very brittle.
(G.V.): What do others say about you? How do they describe you?
(F.P.): I think people would describe me quite different from how I really am. I don’t think they would describe me as sad and depressed, rather as someone who is cheerful, outgoing, does things, who pushes others.
(G.V.): Do you quarrel with the members of your family? (F.P.): Now that my children are a bit older the arguments have increased slightly, because they leave things around everywhere and I am not particularly inclined to pick things up or run after them. So, yes, I do complain. But if there’s a family argument, I tend to be the mediator. I get things sorted out and get everybody back in line.
