The Science of Homeopathy – page 83

stimulus matches the level of receptivity of the organism, and this ben- efit can then be lasting if progress is allowed to proceed undisturbed, despite the development of new symptoms on more peripheral levels.

In homeopathy, we at last see a scientific system which is based upon clear principles, which aims to stimulate the organism benefi- cially at precisely the resonant frequency, and which then allows the strengthened defense mechanism to complete its work in proper order. As we shall see in subsequent chapters, each homeopathic prescription is supposed to be based upon the totality of the expressions of the de- fense mechanism; in this way it is matched to the resonant frequency. Even so, it is true even in homeopathy that an incorrect remedy based only on a partial image of the patient’s symptomatology can be given; such a prescription can also drive the vibrational level deeper and re- sult in deterioration of the general health of the patient. Similarly, even a homeopathic remedy, if improperly given at a time when the defense mechanism is already proceeding efficiently in the proper direction, can disrupt the progress and unnecessarily delay recovery.

Summary of Chapter 5

Summary of Physics Section

  1. One can hypothesize that the vital force is synonymous with the electrodynamic field of the body and therefore conforms to known principles of physics.
  2. Matter and energy interchange in the electrodynamic field; this field is measurable in terms of waveforms, composed of frequency, wavelength, and amplitude.
  3. The force or energy of the wave or field is proportional to both amplitude and frequency.
  4. Every substance has a particular resonant frequency at which it will vibrate with greater force when stimulated by a wave of similar frequency. This resonant frequency may be easily discernible, as in a homogeneous object, or difficult to perceive, as in a nonhomogeneous object such as the human body.
  5. The electromagnetic field of the human body can be consid- ered its “dynamic plane” – a plane of inconceivable complexity which nevertheless conforms to laws and principles grounded in electromag- netic concepts of resonance, harmony, reinforcement, and interference. These laws and principles, therefore, are the basis for the new “energy medicine.”
