(F.P.): No, I don’t jog because I’ve got a small heart defect, the
left ventricle is blocked.
(G. V.): And if you run, what do you feel?
(F.P.): I feel out of breath. I used to play tennis, but I collapsed
twice, so now I leave it alone.
(G.V.): Can you wear tight clothes?
(F.P.): Yes. But I have thyroid problems: it’s enlarged and there
are small cysts in it.
(G. V.): Do you have any palpitations?
(F.P.): Yes.
(G. V.): Do they come easily?
(F.P.): Yes, it happens very easily.
(G.V.): How do they start?
(F.P.): The heart races.
(G. V.): Do you tremble at all? Stretch out your hands. If you had
an appointment, might you have diarrhea beforehand?
(F.P.): No.
(G.V.): Do you have to run to the toilet often to urinate?
(F.P.): Normal.
(G.V.): (speaking to the therapist) You have written here that she
used to have diarrhea when she was anticipating something.
(F.P.): If I have stomach problems, I generally have digestive
problems.
(G. V.): No, I mean when you are anticipating something, when
you have an appointment, do you have loose stool or diarrhea?
(F.P.): Oh yes, not exactly diarrhea, but it’s sometimes the case
that I need to go to the toilet more often than usual.
(Therapist): What she told me in the anamnesis was that when
she had an examination in the past, she could barely manage to
reach the toilet because she had an imperative stool urge.
(G.V.): Is it easy for you to appear and speak before a group or
in public?
(F.P.): Yes, if the group isn’t too large. Today I was a little nervous
about having to speak in front of the camera.
(G.V.): When you used to have a strong desire for sour things,
was it also a desire for unripe fruit?
