Celle Seminar I, Case 17: Chronic Gastritis

(F.P.): Yes.
(G.V.): What do you like to do for enjoyment? (F.P.): I like drawing, attending drawing courses, sports, gymnastics, yoga, brushing up on my French at night school. (G.V.): Do you like music? (F.P.): Yes, not excessively so, normal. (G.V.): Do you like sweets? (F.P.): Yes.
(G. V.): But you cannot eat them because it affects your stomach? (F.P.): I only eat sweets when I don’t have stomach pains. (G.V.): But if you eat sweets, I see here in the report, then the pains increase.
(F.P.): But eating sweets doesn’t matter when I’m not in pain to start with. I don’t eat that much, just a piece or so occasionally. (G.V.): Do you wake up easily in the morning? (F.P.): Yes, at half-past six. I get out of bed immediately in tip-top shape.
(G.V.): Do you have a lot of energy? (F.P.): Yes, first thing in the morning, but not at night. (G.V.): How do you use this energy?
(F.P.): I’ve always got something to do, I’ve always got a schedule.
(G.V.): Are you very organized? (F.P.): Yes.
(G.V.): Are you very tidy at home? (F.P.): Yes, very.
(G. V.): Why did you divorce your first husband? (F.P.): He met another woman. (G.V.): Were you distressed? (F.P.): Of course it upset me! (G.V.): Very much? (F.P.): Yes, a lot.
(G.V.): Did you cry? What did you do?
(F.P.): Oh, God, it was a long time ago! Yes, I cried, but I did not have a lot of time for that because my son was sick and I had to look after him.
