A New Model For Health And Disease – Page 188

We may be destroying the human race under the pretense of saving it. One wonders why it is that man has been so deluded about so vital an issue as health. One disconcerting possibility is that such calamities as have been recounted on these pages are the inescapable consequence of our societies’ way of life.
The diminution of AIDS will not come soon, and if it comes at all, it will only be after drastic changes have taken place.

However, I sincerely believe that without drastic alterations of our prevailing methods of health care, the quality of our survival, itself in doubt, will be severely compromised.
